Back in 2006 (I think), I put together a remix of Christina Aguilera’s “Aint No Other Man (Acid42Mix).” Found the acapella vocal track on a music production forum and discovered that the acapella track was well done. So much so that it inspired me to sequence some bouncy beats and semi-aggressive synth lines as backing tracks for the vocals.
I purposely did not listen to the original track before creating the remix in order not to influence the direction of the remix. Instead, I pictured a cyborg disco.
I put the mp3 up on Imeem a while back but since Imeem’s been bought by MySpace, the playlists haven’t returned. So here it is again. Where it belongs. Enjoy!
